Mr Hansford is a freelance writer and photographer whose work has appeared in New Zealand and international magazines, newspapers and websites. He fronted a regular environment slot on TVNZ’s ‘Good Morning’ show. He has filmed documentary footage for Natural History NZ Ltd, and worked on the BBC production ‘Life of Birds’. He is a long-running contributor to ‘New Zealand Geographic’. Mr Hansford’s first book, ‘Protecting Paradise’, examined the many debates and fallacies surrounding the use of 1080 in New Zealand, and made a case for urgent intervention to rescue dwindling native wildlife.
