Inviting the Governor-General to your event

Each year, the Governor-General attends special events, ceremonies and celebrations across the country. With the closure of Government House Wellington for a major conservation project, the Governor's-General's team is taking a more proactive approach to the forward planning of his programme.

This section of the Governor-General's website provides online forms to invite the Governor-General to your event, provides essential information on event organisation and answers some basic questions about protocol. It also provides a general guide to the Governor-General's availability in the year ahead.
