Asthma and Respiratory Supreme Achievers Awards

  • <span class="title">Asthma and Respiratory Supreme Achievers Awards</span><br/><p>  There were tears, cheers, waiata and accolades galore at the Asthma and  Respiratory Achievers Awards at Government House in Wellington on 20  November 2007. The Governor-General, the Hon Anand Satyanand, handed  out trophies to eight winners in nine categories. The Governor-General  is pictured with Hana Wolzak, 46, who on the Rangatira Open Supreme  Achiever and SPARC Award. Ms Wolzak has had the goal of swimming Cook  Strait since 1976 and succeeded in April 2007. She is the oldest woman  to have ever swum the strait. Other supreme achievers were: Angela  McMillan, Open; Dave Henry, COPD; Zachary Loulanting, School Age;  Annabeth Kew, SPARC. Rangatira Awards: Jack Edwards, COPD; Tunisia  Angell-Kea, School age; Cody Forbes Award for Courage: Tumanako Manuel.  </p>
