Governor-General visits Turangawaewae Marae

  • <span class="title">Meeting the Maori King</span><br/>The Governor-General, the Hon Anand Satyanand, and Mrs Susan Satyanand, were formally welcomed on to Turangawaewae Marae on Saturday 18 August 2007 as part of the celebrations for the first anniversary of the Maori King's coronation. The Governor-General and Mrs Satyanand are pictured outside Turongo House with Te Arikinui Tuheitia and his wife, Te Atawhai.
